crescendos or diminuendos in voltas

There is a Problem that came up with the lateset version of musescore. If you create dynamic changes that go into voltas or are inside a volta, it doens't affect the playback. I tried things like spreding the Volta Bracket over the entire dynamic change but it didn't work. Is there a way around or is this a bug to be fixed in an upcoming update?

Inside of a volta, the dynamic works as expected. What it does is the same as in any other place. It looks forward in the score, ignoring any jumps or repeats, and uses the next dynamic it finds as the final dynamic for that hairpin. In the case of contradictory dynamics, like if you have a crescendo and the next dynamic is less that where the hairpin starts, it does nothing. You must edit the velocity change in the hairpin to make it work correctly.

If your goal is to make the dynamic affect the second time through on a repeat, this is not yet a feature. Every time MuseScore encounters a measure it will play it exactly the same. There are several proposal to improve this, but it's not likely to be a simple fix. There will need to be a new infrastructure set up for dynamics and/or notes that will allow MuseScore to Play louder the second time, or have the Flute play the first time only and so forth.

I was involved in a discussion about this in the last several days. I thought it was in the issue tracker, but I don't see it right now.
