Instrument listing in the mixer
Hi I have a question about the instrument listing in the mixer, first I should start by telling you what soundfont I'm using, it is called "General User GS". My question is about the instrument listing in the mixer, why are the instruments from the gs variation banks mixed in with GM instruments?
The reason I ask is because it would be easier if the GM instruments and standard drum set were listed first and then the variation banks, that way if a person wants to make a GM compatible midi, it will be easier to see the GM instruments.

The instruments are listed in the same order as the GM standard found at https://www.midi.org/specifications-old/item/gm-level-1-sound-set.

The sound font you have loaded has extra instruments in some channels and they are listed by channel. MuseScore does not change this order.
