3.1 version sometime fails at opening certain midi files.
It's very easy to reproduce, try to open an attached midi file. It opens fine in 2.3.2 version, but fails in 3.1 (Load failed: bad midifile: unexpected EOF).
I also checked it against most recent nightly build (2019-06-11-2119-master-2ac4aff) - same thing.
