MS 3.2 installed on Windows 7 (processor i7 64 bit, 8 cores, 6GB RAM)
When the total number of notes per unit time is large (but not atypical of fast tempo orchestral scores) playback presents artifacts if using a soundfont such as the MuseScore_General_HQ.sf3. These artifacts render playback unusable in these cases. The attached score is an example. See measure 50 (though this behavior may depend on the system). If the tempo is lowered significantly (in this case to about 25 % of the original tempo) the problem disappears.
This is a problem in the real-time playback only. MP3 or WAV export work OK.
The problem doesn't appear with MuseScore_General.sf3
