Musescore 3.2.3 not opening in windows 10

I will open musescore and the blue loading screen will appear and the start centre will pop up, but the app itself does not seem to open properly. The icon remains in the taskbar and if I hover over the icon or look at it through win + tab all that appears is a white rectangle. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, opening a musescore file to make musescore open, and running musescore through run -s (which just ends up giving me a regular crash report). I have no idea what the problem is or how to solve at this point and am wondering if others might know how to solve this problem.
