Musescore 3.2.3 won't install under Win10 in either 32 or 64 bit. Nor will 3.4 Beta

Musescore 3.2.3 won't install under Win10 in either 32 or 64 bit. Nor will 3.4 Beta. Whenever I try the system will get am "Throw RegOpenKeyEx(candidateKey) in copyEstimateSize()". I have no idea what this means nor how to get the software to run. Ever since ver. 3 came out Musescore has degrade on every version since to where it doesn't work. Where can I get a pre 3.0 version?
