Adding bars at the beginning rather than the end
Is it possible to add say 2 bars at the beginning of a short melody which begins with an anacrusis? It's for a sight singing test and the tonic chord and starting note need to be written on the score before the melody .

The non-obvious problem with this is that new measures so inserted precede the key signature, time signature, and tempo indications. Not that that's wrong, but "you gotta know that."
