Problem with Campania

• Sep 17, 2019 - 14:17

I need HELP ! I have Musescore 3.2.3 and I'm using campania to try and do some analysis. However, I can't get it to correctly notate a "g# half-diminished 7" chord.[ g#ø7] The g half-dim.7 chord works fine but as soon as I insert the # next to the "g" , the circle-slash reverts back to just a 07. This happens with any half-dim. chord that I add an accidental next to the letter.

THANKS !!
R.

Campania is designed for Roman numeral analysis, not chord symbols. To create chord symbols in MuseScore, you don't need a special font, just use Ctrl+K.

Campania will be included in MuseScore 3.3 and used by default for the new Roman numeral analysis feature. But again, it really is designed to only work that way. The chord you are trying to notate would be, for instance in the key of F# minor, iiø7. Or in the key of D, #ivø7. The half-diminished symbol would never appear directly after a sharp sign in Roman numeral analysis.
