Percussion Music Notation
I am trying to write percussion music but I can not figure out how to open up the bar at the bottom that shows you the different notes on the lines. I have only had this problem since I upgraded to MuseScore 3. I looked on YouTube and people said to press the end key but when I do it only shifts how far the score is from the top and left edges, not pulling up what it should. Can someone help me with this?

In order to write percussion music, you need to have specified a percussion instrument when you created your score. I'm guessing you didn't. So add one now (with Edit / Instruments) or start a new score, and be sure to specify an (unpitched) percussion instrument.
