Ties in Drumset Do Not Work
I am working on a jazz chart with a drum set part. It makes use of slash notation and cue notations as you do. So here's the deal.
The cues are in the 3rd layer, I've altered the percussion map to have the cues on a hotkey, C. Everything works fine while I'm putting in the notes, until I have to TIE some notes together. When I press the tie button on the main tool palette, the result is a DIFFERENT NOTE than the note I'm originating the tie from, and NO TIE. Any ideas y'all? I've made charts before and I didn't have this problem! So weird!!

In order for us to be able understand and assist better, please attach the actual score not just a picture, and describe exactly what you are doing. Normally when using rhythmic slash notation, you'd enter the notes - and their ties - before using Tools / Toggle Rhythmic Slash Notation. I kind of wonder if you're trying to "fake" the notation somehow and that could be part of the problem. But also, note that ties don't really make sense in a drumset part.
