How to remove instrument panel when scrolling

Hi there,
How can I remove the following element? I have highlighted in my image below. Sorry, I don't know exactly what it's called, so I haven't been able to look up how to remove it. It shows the names of the instruments as you scroll along, obscuring parts of the score. I find it very annoying when writing. Thank you!
