Font resizing problem?

I am having difficulty increasing the font to desired size (I'm dealing with a choir with several elderly & poorly sighted members)... as far as I'm concerned there is adequate space for it to go to 14pt... but it will not even achieve 12pt???

Format/Style->Text style->Lyrics Odd-Even Lines->set the font size
