Note Variation
I'm not sure what this is called. My song has 3 similar verses. However in the third verse one quarter note is replaced by two eight notes of different pitches. Does anyone know what that is called and how to show it in Musescore? Thanks

I don't know what it's called, but put the 2 8th notes in voice 2 and make the extra rests invisible. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/voices.

Cue Notes ??

It's an alternative set of notes to sing when a verse has two syllable rather than the single syllable sung in other verses. I'm sure it has some proper name but it's not cue notes.

Thanks Mike. I'll give it a shot.

Notating the note variations shouldn't be a problem. It is unlikely, however, that for the foreseeable future, we will be able to assign playback properties for second/third time only. Given how often this request pops up in the forums, I wonder if this option is being considered for future updates.

I know there has been thought given to doing this, but it is quite complicated to accomplish in the current code base or it would have been done some time ago.
