audio output

Can't figure out why I can't get musescore to output audio through anything besides my internal laptop speakers. I've configured it on my Mac system preferences for the output to be bluetooth, and done the same in Musescore preferences but it still comes out through the internal speaker?? And then the audio from everything else on my laptop (internet browser, Logic ) comes out through bluetooth? Anyone have any insight for me? It's really frustrating.
