Printing scores
I'm new here; just trying to figure out why I'm not able to print the piece I've written.
I get a printer error message that I've never seen before. Then occasionally, it prints out the first stave of the piece, then stops.
Any thoughts?

What does the printer error say? Seems likely whatever the problem is, is with your printer, given what you describe, so it could be worth asking the support folks for the printer company.

Considering the myriad of all possible error messages in the printer universe there is no possible way for anyone here to see what you have seen without you providing that precise information.
If you desperately need to print your score, consider exporting as a pdf file and see if that prints.
