Repeating repeats on more than 1st time through a piece

Hi,

I've looked around in the handbook and forum and not been able to find a way to do what I desire during playback mode.

I'd like to be able to put a repeat at the end of several repeated sections, where this redirects performer (and muse score player) to start at the very beginning again, BUT THEN repeating EACH section w their repeats as was done in the 1ST TIME thru. Rather, the 1st time thru plays as I'd want, and the next time sections with repeats only play once (I know this is how musicians often read classical repeats in scores, but its not the behavior I want).

I found play count in Measure Properties, and it is set to 2, but this seems to only adhere the 1st time thru a piece.

Thanks a bunch,

To make the repeat in measure 26 to go back to the beginning, you need to delete the repeat bar and apply a D.C. from the repeats and jumps palette. If you want the first repeat to repeat again, select the D.C., open the inspector (press F8) and check the Play Repeats box.

Have a look at:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/repeats-and-jumps#jumps
especially where it says: "If you click on a jump, some text boxes and a checkbox are displayed in the Jump section of the Inspector."
and further down: "Play repeats: Ticking this box tells MuseScore to play repeats after D.C. (Da Capo) or D.S. (Dal Segno) jumps."
