Cannot read file, bad format
MuseScore will no longer open this file and an error pops up stating "Cannot open file: (file location) bad format".
All attempts at removing "&" signs and accidental flats have not worked (as suggested in other forum posts).

I changed the file's name and put whole measure rests in all the empty staves. (They were missing and the measures were completely empty.)

MuseScore 3.0.0, very old, 26ad655, even older, a MuseScore 3.0 alpha version from 11 Sep 2018. Score created 2019-12-04, so very recently.
Don't use such outdated versions! Update to 3.3.4.
