Dotted-eighth-sixteenth beaming
Is there way to say "I would like dotted-eighth-sixteenth-dotted-eighth-sixteenth to be beamed as a unit, the way eighth-eighth-eighth-eighth would be?" (in 4/4 or 2/4), as is very common (if not standard?) in published music?
Thanks.

If you mean, to have that as a default, you can make this happen by settings sixteenths to group in eights via time signature properties, but that's probably not what you want generally. We don't have a way to customize settings for mixed groupings. So you have to do it case by case via the Beam Properties palette.

Knope. Request reasonable (ability to do this in a score)?

Sure. Would be good to be able to handle triplets too. Not sure what the UI might look like, probably best to keep discussing here first a bit.

Perhaps: Enter a pattern via the usual keystrokes in a mini-staff in the dialog. Recognize it when it appears and beam it together.
