TWO STAVE INTO ONE STAVE
I have a Soprano stave and a Alto stave that I want to put as the Treble cleff stave for a piano part-in a single stave. I have tried the voice 1- voice 2 but have not made it work. The screen shot shows three staves and 4th blank stave. I want the top two duplicated into the 4th as a piano part doubling the top two. Hope this makes sense

Select the staves you want to combine, then use Tools / Implode.

I want to implode them on a third blank stave and then have the totems facing the same way

Copy the first;
Select the third stave, paste and then Tools/Voices->Exchange Voice 1-2;
Copy/&paste the second then select the third then Tools/Voices->Exchange Voice 1-2.
That should work.

Or, add the blank staff above the two you want combined, do the Implode twice. First with all three staves selected, which will combine them onto that blank staff as separate voices. Then select just the combined staff and run Implode again, which combines the voices.

Oh running implode twice. I'd never have thought of that. That might well come in useful some day. Thanks Marc
