verse numbering
hi, I'm currently working on some songs to sing. I wrote it in 4 voices (classical singing) and added the text (just like in a normal songbook). but I have a problem with the verse numbering. every song i look at, the number 1 for the first verse is under the the time signature, and then the first word begins with the first note (and so for the 2nd verse an so on...). But i can't divide it, I have to write the verse number and the text together. Maybe someone knows if there is an possibility to do it the normal way.
I attached 2 examples, how it should be and how it shouldn't be.

The usual way is to insert in lyrics under the first note the verse number, pressing ctrl+space and inserting the first syllable.
