From time to time I receive notifications that the latest Musescore version is available and I download and install it.

However lately when I download and want to install it I get this notification which is attached. This has happened within the last two weeks. Looking forward to receive the solution.

Hi Jojo,

When I try to update my Musescore I download the file and then click to install it. After going through a few stages a popup appears. This is what it says:
Another installation is in progress. You must complete that installation before continuing this one. I then get two options:
Retry and Cancel.
When I click on retry the message above is repeated. I know of no other installations that take place when I try to update. Need your help. Thanks and have a great 2020. You guys are tops.

Download afresh? Run chkdsk?

Error code 2203 basically pops up when the user does not have sufficient permissions to install the program to the folder that contains the installation point or the temp folder. Make sure that you are logged in as an Administrator to install the programs on the computer.
