Problem with the DockArticulation Plugin

• Dec 30, 2019 - 18:21

Hi, Gang!!!

I use MuseScore 3.3.4 AppImage into Ubuntu Studio 19.10 (64 bits Linux).

I've been experimented with the BSG's DockArticulation Plugin, to avoid the excessive "electronic" legato in the MIDI music from MuseScore.

I found that, when we change the Off Time value to, let's say, 920... And one of those notes had an staccato sign, before we applied the plugin... Of course, the staccato audible effects is... Lost in history!!! (the new value of 920 is "THE" new value).

But... If we put the staccato sign on that note, again... We don't recover the standard staccato value (500). Not. The Off Time value remains the changed 920.

The only one way to get back to the normal staccato value, is using the plugin, again.

Is it "normal"?

Is there some way to fix this? ???

Blessings and Greetings from Chile!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020!!!

JUAN

As with many things in MuseScore, when a user (be it directly or via a plugin) puts in an explicit override value of a default interpretation; that user value is honored.
