Staves linking that arent supposed to

Ok, that title probably doesn't make much sense but here's my problem: I have a single steel drum staff linking its barlines with a synth treble staff as if they're a grand staff, and the bass clef is all alone. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Also, PLLLLLLEASE look at the pictures. I know that my explanation doesn't make much sense, but the picture will clarify what I mean
