Donations to musescore
Just attempted to make a new donation to musescore using the contribute> donate path, ended with error message. IIRC in the past I have been able to do this, so either I forgot how or the sequence is now different. Previously I think this happened via PayPal. What am I missing?

IIRC PayPal doesn't work since long and it was PayPal that doesn't want to work with MuseScore any longer, not the other way round. So there's only direct bank transfer or Patreon. See https://musescore.org/en/donate

That's the screen that returned an error message when I clicked "donate". I am in US, with US currency. Not comfortable with allowing ongoing bank account access. So there no longer a way to make a lump sum contribution?

There's no ongoing bank account access, just a one-time direct bank transfer (but in Euro!). Might be too cumbersome and expensive from outside the EU, hence the option of Patreon
