Drawable text boxes
I am often held back by not being able to place text boxes in specific areas of my score, most often when trying to create resources for my students. For example, placing instructions for a specific scale etude along side or below the notated music.

There are ways to do this reasonably well with horizontal, vertical, and text frames, but developing skill at it is a black art. See any of my recent tutorials in my tutorials set (e.g., https://musescore.com/bsg/augmented-major-seventh ).
Indeed, all the necessary tools should already be there, between the three different types of frames plus staff text, ability to add boxes as a text style, etc. So feel free to attach a specific example and explain what you are having difficulty adding, and we can help.
