Lyrics - Letter "o" showing as diminished symbol
I am using a jazz style to create leadsheets. So, I am familiar with how to create the chord symbols for half-diminished and diminished chords. This same behavior appears to occur when entering lyrics. So, the letter "o" appears as a superscript in lyrics. Not desired.
Anything to address this (e.g. change font for lyrics)?
Thanks

Did you, by accident, set the font for lyrics to Campania? It should be FreeSerif (inspect a lyric in the inspector)? I use many o's in lyrics ....
Or, I suppose, if you are trying to use some other font that makes similar substitutions. But it certainly shouldn't happen using the "MuseJazz Text" font used in the jazz templates that come with MuseScore.
If you continue to have trouble after checking your font choices, please attach your score, or at least a relevant excerpt, so we can understand and assist better.

Yes, as usual, operator error. Not sure how this occurred but just "odd lines" in lyrics were set to Campania (which I know is used to support the various chord symbols).
Thank you sir!

Great, glad you got it figured out. BTW, "Campania" is specifically used for Roman numeral analysis, which is related to but distinct from chord symbols. Try typing "bIV64" and you'll see what it's about...
