Adding new element to the Fingering palette[Solved]
Want to add a modified RH fingering symbol to the Fingering Palette but despite studying that particular section in the online handbook, could not manage to do it.
In the picture I show what I mean: the circled "m" must be added to the palette. How can I do this?

Drag the fingering while holding down the Ctrl and Shift keys, and drop it into the palette.

I did that already but that doesn't work! The symbol moves until the edge of the sheet and then disappears when trying to drag it into the palette. releasing the Ctrl + shift key then results in splitting up the who sheet into two parts. Yes, I enabled editting the palette

It's got to work, it's always been that way.
Press Ctrl + Shift before selecting/clicking the fingering. So then hold, drag and drop.
EDIT: also, are you sure to use a recent version of MuseScore (3.4.2 currently) ?
