Octave edit

• Mar 4, 2020 - 23:24

Hi,
I've written a score for trombone in bass clef but when I change the clef to treble for my alto sax player, the notes read very low. Can I select the whole score and edit all the notes up an octave?
Thanks in advance,

Yes: select the entire section you want to shift up an octave, then on Windows it's Ctrl+Up arrow (on Mac it's probably Cmd+Up arrow).

And further to select the whole measures of a single staff by using shortcuts: select the first measure, press "shift+ctrl+end" ("shift+cmd+fn+->), then use ctrl+arrow up as mentioned.
