composition

I downloaded the software on Saturday and paid the required fee. Now I can't find the app on my computer. How do I find what I paid for? And then how do I find directions for notating my composition for SAB choir and piano? Thank you.

There is no fee whatsoever for the software. MuseScore is free and will remain free.
Just downloading it won't install it though, so the package would still sit where you downloaded it to.

Direction on how to notate music is in the handbook, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook
(It also describes how to install MuseScore)

There is no fee required to use the notation software. It is entirely and completely free.
Check your browsers download history if you don't remember where you've downloaded the installer to.

Then consult the online handbook for items you'd need to enter your score. Perhaps start at https://musescore.org/en/handbook/create-new-score and at least look at the note input chapter as well.

Sorry to hear that. Musescore is free. It should show up in the start menu or on your desktop w/ icon. SATB plus piano is a basic template that should show up when setting up your first score.
