Switching Instrument Sound Problem
I am writing an ensemble piece and I want my Synth. 1 part to switch to the Overdrive Guitar. It will not switch to that sound. I tried going to other instruments in that score and switched them to see if it worked at all and it did for them, but it will not switch the sound on my piano parts. PLEASE HELP!!!
-I want Synth 1 to switch at letter A

You used the instrument change (to Saw) on synthesizer 2, not 1
See attached (I've also connected the barlines for the staves of synth 1 and synth 2)

So I want Synth two to be the saw at A. Im trying to switch Synth 1 to a Overdrive Guitar from the music box sound at A if that makes sense?

Then use a corresponding instrument change for Synth 1 at rehearsal mark A, similar to what you did to Synth 2 at that spot

So I switched it to a guitar sound at A but how do I make it sound like the overdrive guitar? I think it has something to do with the mixer but I don't think it works. And if it does work then I don't know how to do it.

Use a staff text and it's properties to switch the desired voices to the overdrive channel

It did work! Thank you very much! I did not know that I could do that. I do have a second question though. Is there a way to get rid of the delay in the strings in the beggining on synth 2?
