BIg Note Scores

I am new to this, and used to notation by hand. I am wondering if there is a way to make big note scores, with shorter pages. After some experimentation with the software, so far I have not figured out how to do this, if it is possible. I teach music and I want to make my own arrangements for some young beginners.
