Privacy of Sets
I have been searching everywhere for an answer to this question, and so far have not found one, so I was hoping I could get some help here...
...I was wondering: is there a way to make one or more "sets" on your profile private, so that they cannot be opened by others? Thanks!

Sets exist on musescore.com; this is musescore.org. You should discuss this issue there ( https://musescore.com/groups/improving-musescore-com ).
There is. You can set them public or private

UPDATE: Nevermind, please disregard that (vvvvvvvvvvvvvv). I found the button, it wasn't where I expected. Lol, thanks anyhow!
Okay, phew! I had spent a half hour working on my sets when I realized they were public. How do I set them to private? I found the spot where it says they are public, but there is no button or link er anything!
Thanks!

As long as the scores listed in the set are not public, the list being public doesn't harm much, others would only get to see the title and the thumbnail.
Which I don't like though, so requested an 'unlisted' state so I can share it with a group.
But as mentioned, this all doesn't belong here at all, it does belong to musescore.com and there to https://musescore.com/groups/improving-musescore-com/
