Line symbol over a bar
Sometimes when I've made an error in a bar a little symbol like a line - see attached screenshot - appears above . I presume it's telling me something but it remains even after I have corrected the error. Can anyone explain what it means and how to remove it, please? In this example the final bar has only 3 beats to match a 1 beat anacrusis at the beginning.

It's a minus sign, telling you the bar has less beats than indicated by the time signature. In case of more beats, it'll be a plus sign. These are on-screen markings only which won't be included when printing/exporting.
