MIDI Input Doesn't Work Anymore

• Apr 14, 2020 - 17:36

Hello! I know there has been a lot of the same questions for this topic, but none of them seemed to help my situation. It appears the settings are all right, but whenever I press a note on the keyboard, nothing happens. I have a YAMAHA EZ-30 MIDI keyboard, and a Mio iConnectivity interface. The settings I have in Musescore are:

API: MME
Device: Microsoft Sound Mapper - Input
MIDI input and output: MMSystem,m

Yes, I do have the "MIDI input" option enabled, I have read the handbook and followed the instructions, I have also reverted back to factory settings. Nothing works. I switch back and forth between Musecore 3 and 3.4, but also have been trying to use just 3.4 from now on. I do know though that it is possible to make it work, because a few months ago, I guess I was just messing around with it, and it worked somehow. If anybody can help me, that would be very much appreciated!

I take it you are actually in note input mode? If you enter one note using your mouse or computer keyboard, then try pressing a key on your MIDI keyboard, does that change anything? And are you sure you have a 64-bit driver for this keyboard>
