Midi Keyboard not inputting on the next line
I connected my Midi Keyboard to musescore 3. When the staff has a note on it, and I play something on my midi keyboard it adds the note to it. However, it does not move on to the next beat. The aftermath is a gigantic cluster chord. It also does not input notes on a rest. Is there a way to fix this or?
Edit: It seems to work sometimes however, there are times that it doesnt move and times that it moves normally

Then you're probably in Insert mode rather than in the normal input mode

i always have normal input mode. I tried it and it seems to have the same case

Ah, so it adds a note to the current chord, not insert another note (or chord) into the measure.
Like if using the computer keyboard and the Shift key together with A-G

yes it seems to work a while ago when i factory reset musescore, but it reverted back to the adding of notes to the same time stamp
