Can't launch MuseScore 3 on Mac upon install

I downloaded MuseScore 3 for Mac from the Downloads page, launched the .dmg file and added it to my Applications folder. When I click on the app to try to launch it, I get the error, "“MuseScore 3” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software." On Catalina 10.15.3
