I started a Forum topic on this, and Marc thought it to be a good idea and suggested I submit this in Issue Tracker as an S5, so here it is.
In Ctrl L for "lyrics", when I want to correct something, I can overwrite lyrics easily by hitting the spacebar and simply typing the new lyrics. However, in the fingerings function, the numbers don't overwrite when you hit the spacbar; I have to delete the old fingerings and write new ones. I'm suggesting that you make the fingering overwrite when you hit the spacebar as the Ctrl L function does.
