3 things i'd like to do in Musescore...
I love using Musescore but I'm not very good at it. I have an idea in my head that I've started, but I've quickly hit 3 snags. I know there are work-arounds, but there must be a way to...
1) Specify "swing" for an 8th not sequence so Musescore will interpret it "right" during playback.
My work-around is to switch to 12/8. Not very satisfying... :-(
2) Specify "play 2nd time only" or "tacet 1st time" so playback honours the notation.
Workaround is to use no repeats, just straight through, violating my law of conservation of paper. :-(
3) Explicitly (no tricks!) indicate a tied note in the 1st ending to that note in the first bar of the repeat.
Of course this part is also "play 2nd time only". How do I notate this so playback gets it "right"?
Workaround is the same as #2.
I'm just a "hack". So please don't say "just do this and this". I'm trying to do these 3 things at once. So I'd really like an 4 or 8-bar snippet (one horn is fine) that accomplishes this. Or maybe you have done this in a published chart that I've not noticed. I've looked unsuccessfully at a lot of swing charts as well as simple google searches with no luck. Maybe my search terminology is lacking.
Thank you for your help! Much appreciated.

2) not yet implemented in musescore
3) also not really implemented, see this howto for 4 different workarounds that can be used: https://musescore.org/en/node/267614
