Break in Barline
When a piece of Staff Text passes through a barline (one that spans between staves), is it possible to creat a small gap in the bar line so that it doesn't cross through text? (a fine point, but one I have seen in engraved scores.) In the attached file, mm.3-4, I've solved this by shifting the whole text left a couple clicks, so that the baline passes between words, at least.

You can set the background for the text to non-transparent by using its frame:
Adjust margin as desired.
