How can I see the exact WYSIWYG on a per page view or a vertical and horizontal ruler before printing, in case I want to re position the staves.

One little addition to Jojo's answer. The default is to show invisible elements "ghosted" on the screen. These do not show on the printed version. If you want to see exactly what the print version will look like, you can completely turn off the visibility of invisible elements on the screen via the view menu - untick show invisible.
This is not recommended other than for temporary use as it makes it difficult (impossible?) to find and edit the invisible elements. Don't forget to re-tick the box when you have finished!
