Problem with Musecore 3 display
Hi, I have recently started to get this problem when starting a new score- the staves are not visible, just a blank space of dark blue.
Am I doing something wrong?

Unfortunately after reverting to factory settings, it comes back exactly the same.

Try changing the zoom (sometimes restarting the pc helps).

Restarting the pc, uninstalling and reinstalling, changing the zoom, has no effect. The blocked out areas are only in page view; if I change to continuous view or single page, the staves reappear.

Every new score- when I start a new one. Existing scores display correctly.

I think I have found the problem- the last windows 10 update (I presume) seems to have changed the country settings to US standards (my computer is UK). Changing the page size back to UK A4 fixes the display problem.

That latest Windows 10 Update is known to screw up some printers, and MuseScore uses the default printer to determine the default paper format, so this indeed is a likely cause
