Splash screen takes over virtually whole display

Is there any way to turn off the splash screen on the Windows version?

It seems completely pointless, as it contains no useful information and looks like it's there just because everyone else is doing it. Plus it takes over most of the screen for several seconds while the application starts, which might not sound like much but it can be pretty disorientating if you click on it, then try to do something else while it's starting, and suddenly you have an enormous blue box in your face.

Note that starting with 3.5 the splash screen will be useful when trying to figure out long startup times, as it'll from then on include debugging messages about what MuseScore is doing.

BTW, it shouldn't be particularly large. Do you perhaps have an unusual monitor configuration, where the display resolution is different form what the OS is abe to report (this happens with TV sets, for example)? When the program loads, do other sizes seems off? Like, is the score itself the correct size (same as printed) when viewed at 100% zoom?
