Odd-meters / changing time signature
Hello all -
I compose in odd meters (7/8, 9/8, etc), and I know how to set a piece in one of those time signatures in the template wizard when I create a new score. However, how does one insert one of these time signatures in the body of a score?
I.e. Say I'm writing in 7/8, switch to a measure of 3/4, and then... how do I switch back to 7/8? Since 7/8 isn't in the Time Signature Palette, I'm at a loss of how to add it.
Thanks! excited for the thoughts folks have.

Under the "Time Signatures" tab, press more.
From there you will be able to make custom time signatures and drag them onto your palette. From there you can drag them directly onto the piece.
See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/time-signatures#create-time-signature for more detailed information on the process described above.
I have the same issue, but do not know how to change to an odd meter in version 2.1. There is no "add more" at the bottom of time signatures.
In reply to I have the same issue, but… by avalonbaya
I would strongly recommend updating to 3.6.2, the thousands of bug fixes and other improvements will make the time spent well worth it.
But even in 2.1, you can create custom time signatures via View / Master Palette / Time Signatures.
