Adding repeat symbols above measures
I'm writing chord symbols above a walking-bass line; when chords last 2 measures, how do I write in a repeat for the following measure? I can access a repeat symbol, in Palettes, but can't position it above the bar.

Normally repeat symbols are not used or recommended for this - simply leaving the measure blank is all the indication that is needed to tell a player the previous chord continues. But there are indeed some special situations where it can be helpful, like if the chord repeats for only part of the measure and you want to be more explicit about that. In such cases, you can add the symbol from the Special Characters palette (press F2 while editing to display).
