exporting to mp3
I am using MuseScore 3.5.0.13199
I have created a score with a piano part. I want to create a sound file just with the piano part so I have extracted parts and exported the piano part to an mp3.
For some reason the chord symbols on the piano part that are written just to give the harmony, are being played in the mp3 file. When I playback the part within Musescore the chord symbols are not being played. I turned them off. But in the mp3 they are there clashing with the written piano part.
I have also tried exporting to Midi but the chords were being played on the same track as the piano so I couldn't suppress them that way either.

Maybe muting the channel works better here than the style setting or vice versa?
Edit: the Style setting does disable playback in mp3 and midi too, as does the mute method.
