Adjust Tempo
How do I adjust Tempo slightly? I wrote a 17 second jingle that I would like to slow to 20 seconds. Also, is there a standard length for radio or TV promo spots? Thanks, Susan

To adjust the tempo, select the tempo text and adjust the BPM in the inspector. I'm not sure about promo spot lengths. There are probably 3 or 4 standard lengths.

Thanks. I went to View - Master Palette - Tempo. I don't see a way to make small adjustments

Not the master palette. Select your tempo text that defines the tempo for you song and open the inspector (press F8 if you don't see it) and adjust the BPM. If you don't have a tempo text in your score, add one on the first beat from the tempos palette (press F9 to see the palettes) and then adjust the BPM.
See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tempo for more info.
Press F11 or View >Play Panel. Adjust the tempo and play it back until you are happy with it. Note that this only affect playback temporarily. To make this permanent you need to adjust the tempo marking on the score by a factor of (in this case) 17/20. E.g. if the tempo on the score is 120 then change it to 102.
