That picture appears to show an appromixation of a piano roll, but MsueScore in standard music notation. The image shown doesn't really any of the kind of context that would be needed to understand how long those notes actually are. But in general, to change the duration of a note in MuseScore, simply click it and then click the desired duration on the toolbar.
