Brackets for harp fingering notation
While writing my harp composition, I am trying to include brackets to show how to play a group of notes. I already have the notes marked with the correct fingers to use, but I cannot find an appropriate bracket notation to put over the notes to group them. None of the lines are right. I just want the plain hooked horizontal brackets to stretch over the selected groups of notes.
Am I missing something, or are they not available?
Thanks!

The bracket is located in the Arpeggios & Glissandos palette. If you don't want it to play as an arpeggio, select the bracket and uncheck Play in the inspector.

Yes, it worked. It seems like a lot of work if there are several needed throughout the score, but at least it's do-able. It would be great to have horizontal upper and lower brackets for this purpose ready to access.
Thank you so much!

You can press ctrl+shift and drag the bracket to a palette and reuse it like any other line in the palettes.

I accessed the bracket and unchecked Play, but in editing the bracket and trying to manipulate the ends so that it would become horizontal it still remains vertical. I guess it's meant to be that way.
I appreciate your answer, I'm learning this as I go.

Sorry I missed the word horizontal in your original post.
