Removing the chord symbol playing during editing

Dear Musescore,
I am a brand new writer as I am using your program for my jazz arranging class. I am trying to write 3 part jazz harmiony. Unfortunately, I wrote the chord symbols ahead of time. I have tried using note input and unchecking the play chord symbol when editing. My goal is to actually listen to the 3 part harmony without the piano chord playing because i put in a chord symbol. Sorry if this is vague, but I can't hear the harmony properly with th epiano chord blasting.
