Change color of notes?
Is there a way to change the color of the notes in MuseScore? I know about the optional color change if one writes notes out of a particular instrument's range, but there is more general "change color" to highlight isolated notes in a score?

You can select a notehead (or even several noteheads) and change the color by clicking the black rectangle next to Color:. If you give a more specific purpose someone can give more specific guidance. For example, there is a plugin that colors each note according to it's name.
